All-in-one shortcodes is another shortcodes plugin that has many different shortcodes you can insert on your WordPress website. This is a premium plugin that is found at Code Canyon.net. I got a chance to try out this plugin and wanted to share the features. Here are the features it comes with:
- Dark icon buttons.
- Light icon buttons.
- Three different sizes of Web 2.0 buttons.
- Social bookmarking buttons (Twitter, Facebook, Google +1, etc.).
- Tabs that are powered by jQuery.
- Tooltips that are powered by jQuery.
- Quote, lots of designs.
- Dropcaps.
- Google Maps.
- Google charts.
- Slider.
- Color boxes.
- Columns.
- Video support (YouTube & Vimeo).
- Login screen.
These are pretty self-explanatory. Basically, you get 32 buttons that have a dark background. They have anything from check boxes, shopping carts, stars, info icons, etc. You can make these nofollow and dofollow buttons.
Again, these are just icons on a light background. The same ones that are offered from the dark background are also offered on light backgrounds. Again, there are 32 icons. Just like the dark ones you can make them dofollow and nofollow links.
These buttons are fully customizable. You can choose from 3 different sizes (round, square, and icon buttons). It’s very easy to change colors and the look and feel of the buttons. The options for this are pretty much endless.
A lot of the times you have to install another plugin if your theme isn’t already integrated with social bookmarking support. A lot of the plugins you download are confined to putting a social sharing button either above or below the post. Some even have it, so it floating outside the body content. Not with All in one shortcode. You have the flexibility to put the share buttons wherever you want. Just put [retweet], [digg], [stumble] etc. wherever you want it.
Tabs are one of the coolest parts of this All-in-one Shortcodes plugin. I actually do prefer them over the Ultimate Shortcodes tabs I am using on tbwhs.com right now. The width of you tabs is dynamic. You can display as many tabs as you want on a page. You will need to make sure the “tab ID” is different for each tab set, though.
Tooltips are easy to customize. You can have a tooltip installed and change the color of it with an easy to use a shortcode.
I really like the toggle boxes that All-in-one shortcodes use. A lot of other similar shortcode plugins will refer to these as accordions. It makes no difference if you want to call them toggle boxes or accordions they are really just the same thing. This shortcode is really cool. You can see up above the options you have.
A lot of WordPress themes have just ok blockquotes. You have to edit the CSS if you want to change the look and feel of them. With All-in-one Shortcodes you don’t have to mess with any CSS to get the desired look of your quotes.
Dropcaps are another cool addition to this WordPress shortcodes plugin. You can specify the color, size, etc. of the drop cap.
With WordPress, you’re always limited to what you can do with a list. A lot of the WordPress themes just have some plain list. Meaning you just have bullet points or numbers. Not with All-in-one Shortcodes. You can use checks, colors, etc.
The old way of using Google Maps was having to go to their site and find the code. Here are full instructions on how to install Google Maps the long way: https://support.google.com/maps/answer/3544418?hl=en However, with All-in-one Shortcodes you don’t have to go through any of those steps. In fact, here is a sample code that shows just how easy it is to embed your Google maps:
[googlemap width=”500″ height=”300″ src=”https://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=48.109265,14.205322&spn=0.324145,0.590515&t=h&z=11″]I really love this shortcode. It’s awesome; I used to use different websites that would create charts. These sites were confusing to use and took a lot of time. With the Google charts shortcode, you can now embed awesome charts quickly.
Sliders are easy to install; just another reason you should check out this plugin. It’s very easy to install sliders anywhere you want on your website. They do use the “Nivo slider.”
I really like the flexibility that you have when creating colored boxes. These are a great way to dress up your website. They are quick and easy to install. Just use the simple shortcode and customize it to your liking.
Columns are kind of like tables for me in WordPress. You can’t make tables with All-in-one shortcodes, but check out my TinyMCE advanced plugin review if you’re interested in tables. Columns are a pain to work within WordPress. With this shortcodes plugin even a complete idiot, such as myself can create columns.
With All-in-one shortcodes you can embed videos from Yahoo and Vimeo. It’s quick and easy to embed and make adjustments to the videos you want to embed on your website.
You have the flexibility to implement CSS styles to customize your shortcodes. This gives you an unlimited amount of customization that you can do with All in one shortcode. I have tested and tried out this simple and lightweight WordPress plugin and do really like it. There is a lot you can do with it. This is a premium plugin and isn’t free. The price tag for this plugin is $22. Have you used this plugin? Please leave your comments down below.

The only problem is the plugin is abandoned since 2013. Not compatible with WordPress anymore, at least the latest version.
