Hey Zarina,

Do you have any credentials you could post on your about us page? If not might want to think about getting creative with it. For instance, 53 health books read, 493 hours at the gym, etc.

State your favorite teams and sports you follow.

If you have a sense of humor, feel free to add that too.

It does look pretty fitting to your website, though.

Oh I loved these tips for writing my About page. I have been wanting to go and redo my About pages on my websites for quite a while. Yes they are okay but I know they can be so much better. I just wasn’t sure where to start.

Now I have a great starting point, with a checklist to work from. Very very useful.

Yeah, a lot of people put up some kind of picture of them at a party or something that doesn’t look very professional at all.

Personally, I am not a fan of taking pictures of myself, but I try to put up something that at least looks presentable.

Wonderful advice you provide here! Your article helped me think about my About me page and if I was breaking any rules! lol. And I do not think I am. But after reading this I will take a second look at my page to improve it. I am a big believer in putting a picture on an About me page. Because people need to know who is behind the site for credibility. But! The type of picture is important! Nothing too flashy. or of any frat party…..It needs to remind professional but engaging. That’s the key I think.

I never thought to incorporate a contact section on my about me page and have to admit that it is way to long at the moment.
